Dream Las Vegas recently began construction on a new casino hotel at 5051 S. Las Vegas Blvd, marking a significant investment of $550 million on the south end of the Vegas Strip. The groundbreaking ceremony marked the start of this exciting new project.
Dream Las Vegas is situated on the opposite side of the street from Mandalay Bay and Bali Hai Golf Club. The Pinball Hall of Fame and the enormous Harley Davidson dealership are the nearest notable landmarks in this vicinity.
When visitors go to the iconic “Welcome To Las Vegas Sign,” they will be able to see only a few hotel casinos, with Dream Las Vegas being one of them.
The upcoming 20-story establishment is set to open in late 2025 as planned and is poised to become yet another popular destination in the renowned US gambling hub. Some minor alterations have been made to the project since its initial announcement in 2020.
An independent hotel in the center of US gambling
Shopoff Realty Investments and Contour are partnering to develop Dream Las Vegas, a new property that belongs to the Dream Hotels Group family. With this venture, the distinct lifestyle offered by Dream Hotel properties worldwide will be introduced to the city of Las Vegas.

Dream Hotels has a global presence with 15 establishments scattered across various locations such as New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, and Bangkok. Additionally, the company has 25 upcoming properties currently in the works. Among these developments, Dream Las Vegas will mark the company’s inaugural venture into the hotel and casino industry.

Going inside Dream Las Vegas

Additionally, there are plans to include a sporting club, a boutique nightclub, and a yet-to-be-revealed signature restaurant.
Dream Las Vegas casino on the Las Vegas Strip
The gaming floor of the casino will encompass a vast 20,000 square feet, providing ample space for thrilling entertainment. In addition, visitors will have the pleasure of indulging in two distinct bar and lounge concepts situated within the gaming area.
Compared to The Cromwell’s cozy casino, the gaming floor at this casino on the Vegas Strip will be one of the smallest, spanning around 20,000 square feet.
Churchill Downs Incorporated acquired Peninsula Pacific Entertainment, the company that manages gaming operations at casinos in Iowa, Virginia, and New York, and they will now be responsible for overseeing the casino at Dream Las Vegas.
After the sale is finalized, Peninsula Pacific Entertainment will retain its name. The casino operator’s inaugural establishment in the Silver State will be Dream Las Vegas.
Dream Las Vegas will boast a generous 12,000 square feet of meeting and event space, complete with a grand ballroom spanning an impressive 5,000 square feet. Additionally, guests will have the pleasure of enjoying an intimate theater with seating for 90, dedicated to live entertainment.
New Las Vegas hotel with a different aesthetic
Just like all other Dream Hotels properties, the Las Vegas property will also be one-of-a-kind.

Dream Las Vegas, a boutique hotel and casino, will be situated on a compact piece of land. Following the footsteps of The Cosmopolitan, this establishment will boast an array of venues that are vertically dispersed, deviating from the typical layout found in most Las Vegas Strip hotel-casinos that occupy a single floor.
Dream Las Vegas will offer an abundance of fresh air with its thoughtfully incorporated roof decks and terraces. The hotel’s modern design will showcase a combination of glass and metal facade, along with generously sized double-height terraces and oversized windows.
Dream Las Vegas will stand out with its rounded corners, offering a distinct look and feel compared to The Cosmopolitan’s sharp-cornered design. This feature will contribute to a sleek and streamlined exterior presentation for Dream Las Vegas.
Dream Las Vegas will set itself apart from everything else in the vicinity. Although it may not tower over the Vegas Strip skyline, it will undoubtedly enhance the charm of the south end.
